Design and comfort
The external similarity between the MMX 300 and MMX 300 PRO models cannot be denied – black, large shapes and clear lines that indicate their technical sophistication.
The standard version of the MMX 300 comes in black with replaceable velour ear pads. The MMX 300 PRO also has an impressively elegant black colour. The spare parts are also replaceable as standard at beyerdynamic, meaning you can look forward to your new favourite headset having the longest possible service life.
As comfort is just as important when gaming as sound quality and durability, we are constantly working to improve ergonomics. As a result, the new design differs not only with its slimmer, smoother edges, but also with two other adjustments:
The headband pad of the MMX 300 PRO now has a fontanel cut-out and a push-button fastener – a feature of our professional studio headphones. The fontanel is an area of the head that is particularly sensitive to pressure, and constant pressure can lead to tension or headaches when gaming or streaming for hours on end. The recess in the headband padding relieves pressure on this area of the head, so that even after several hours of use, the headset feels just as comfortable as it did when it was first put on.
Weighing just 314 grams, the MMX 300 PRO is also slightly lighter than the MMX 300.
